When the poor man asks the rich man what he got his wife for her last birthday, the rich man answers "I got her a 24-karat diamond ring and a brand new Mercedes Benz." The poor man, a bit puzzled by this, says "why did you get her both?" The rich man replies, "If she doesn't like the ring, she can take it back in her new car and exchange it."

When the rich man asks the poor man what he got his wife, the poor man responds, "I got her a dildo and an old pair of flip-flops." Obviously confused, the rich man asks why he chose those items. The poor man replies, " Because if she doesn't like the flip-flops, she can go fuck herself."
