A man is lying on his deathbed with his wife sitting beside him holding his hand and praying silently.

He looks up and says weakly: "Honey, I have something I must confess!"

"There, there" she says, "there is no need."

"No", he insists, "I want to die in peace so I really want to confess before I die."

"Again", she says, "it's okay - there is no need."

"I must" he says. "I slept with your sister, your best friend, her best friend and your mother" he confesses.

"I know", she says, "now lay still and let the poison work!"
