Barack Obama appointed Timothy Geithner to be his new Secretary of Treasury.

This is a man who understands the economy (including taxes) so well that when it came time to prepare his tax returns, he didn't ask for help and made almost $43,000 worth of mistakes.

This is a man who understands the economy so well that he helped create a $700 billion dollar banking bailout (welfare for the rich) that needed immediate passage (but wouldn't show results for years), and does NOT require any oversight on how the funds are distributed or how they are used.

After all, who wants someone capable of preparing his own return correctly to oversee the Internal Revenue Service, or someone who doesn't have a history of screwing up the economy to run the United States Treasury.
